Many individuals are interested in the collapse of the Roman empire and what historical factors can be gleaned from it's demise as it relates to the possible collapse of the USA's democratic republic. The similarities eerily mirror the posi...

A revolution is speeding towards us with the possibility the USA will soon becoming a collapsed state; the collapse is brewing in plain sight. Historically, just like the collapse of the Roman empire, this is what we would expect. High levels of economic inequality, as expressed as an elevated Gini coefficient, stands out as a comparable historical marker between the two societies. Perhaps now is the time to break out the apocalyptic signs stating, "The Time Is Nigh."

Huge Human Inequality Study Hints Revolution is in Store for U.S.
Every society has a tipping point.

There’s a common thread tying together the most disruptive revolutions of human history, and it has some scientists worried about the United States. In those revolutions, conflict largely boiled down to pervasive economic inequality. On Wednesday, a study in Nature, showing how and when those first divisions between rich and poor began, suggests not only that history has always repeated itself but also that it’s bound to do so again — and perhaps sooner than we think.

In the largest study of its kind, a team of scientists from Washington State University and 13 other institutions examined the factors leading to economic inequality throughout all of human history and noticed some worrying trends.
Coupled with what researchers already know about inequality leading to social instability, the study does not bode well for the state of the world today.

“We could be concerned in the United States, that if Ginis get too high, we could be inviting revolution, or we could be inviting state collapse. There’s only a few things that are going to decrease our Ginis dramatically,” said Tim Kohler, Ph.D., the study’s lead author and a professor of archaeology and evolutionary anthropology in a statement. Currently, the United States Gini score is around .81, one of the highest in the world, according to the 2016 Allianz Global Wealth Report.
Overall, the highest-ever historical Gini the researchers found was that of the ancient Old World (think Patrician Rome), which got a score of .59. While the degrees of inequality experienced by historical societies are quite high, the researchers note, they’re nowhere near as high as the Gini scores we’re seeing now.
Historically, Kohler says in his statement, there’s only so much inequality a society can sustain before it reaches a tipping point. Among the many known effects of inequality on a society are social unrest, a decrease in health, increased violence, and decreased solidarity. Unfortunately, Kohler points out, humans have never been especially good at decreasing inequality peacefully — historically, the only effective methods for doing so are plague, massive warfare, or revolution.

The marriage between technology and social control is on display with the Chinese Social Credit System. Now, quantum entanglement and teleportation has been reported in a Qutrit (in contrast to our present day Qubit) for the very first time. This latest research opens up exciting new dimensions of speed and complexity bringing the technological singularity closer to now than later. From this new technology we can eventually expect to see some wonderful improvements for humanity but this will most likely be tainted with the ability for more and more social control by governments.

The previous post #25 puts forward the need for quantum computers and the race for their development especially by the Chinese and their desire for social control.
Authoritarian regimes are gaining an edge in controlling the singularity by funding their own quantum computers. China is creating a bulwark against democracy and freedom to serve their authoritarian needs. It is amazing how many Western individuals and institutions are asleep at the switch regarding this massive threat. China's Social Credit System, where linking advanced technology to the control of society, is already underway on a grand scale. It involves the use of surveillance techniques on a massive scale and is sure to be enhanced with nano-sensors in the near future.

Quantum Teleportation Has Been Reported in a Qutrit For The First Time
By David Nield, August 08, 2019 https://www.sciencealert.com/quantum-te ... ssion=true
It's time to celebrate another first in the field of quantum physics: scientists have been able to 'teleport' a qutrit, or a piece of quantum information based on three states, opening up a whole host of new possibilities for quantum computing and communication.

Up until now, quantum teleportation has only been managed with qubits, albeit over impressively long distances. A new proof-of-concept study suggests future quantum networks will be able to carry much more data and with less interference than we thought.

If you're new to the idea of qutrits, first let's take a step back. Simply put, the small data units we know as bits in classical computing can be in one of two states: a 0 or a 1. But in quantum computing, we have the qubit, which can be both a 0 and 1 at the same time (known as superposition).

Now, the qutrit has the same relationship to the trit, adding superposition to the classical states that can be represented as 0, 1 or 2. A qutrit can be all of these at the same time, making it another jump forward in terms of (for example) computer processing power or the amount of information that can be sent at once.

It also adds a level of complexity for quantum computing researchers.

Now that we have a grasp on qutrits, what's quantum teleportation? Well, it's getting quantum information from one place to another, through a phenomenon known as quantum entanglement, or "spooky action at a distance", as Albert Einstein called it. That's where two quantum particles (or groups of particles) are interlinked, so that one reveals the properties of the other, no matter how far apart they are in physical terms.
The team also says they should be able to upgrade their system in the future, perhaps even to the dizzying heights of ququarts (qutrits, with an extra bit added).
The future does not bode well for the masses. This new research will solidify the marriage bonds between technology and social control with the prospect for a divorce looking less likely. Government's love for control will make this a match made in heaven. But for the 1.3 billion individuals living in China this future technology has the potential to exacerbate an already living nightmare.

Still, the more advanced technology stemming from this new research is bound to have an effect on all levels of societal control devices implemented by those in power. Elon Musk's Neuralink is a case in point. It has from my perspective the most potential for societal control due to its read and write capabilities. Neuralink, hyped up on steroid like future technology, could make the older concept of reeducation camps and social control look like child's play.
