A New Theory Of Quantum Entangled Morality—Or—Why Are Republicans More Immoral than Democrats?

How will his presidency and the Republican Party change the economic inequality landscape?

This is a general discussion of any aspect of Donald Trump's presidency and the Republican Party's impact upon economic inequality. Keep the discussion civil and dignified while always being mindful of our principles of conduct (aka SITE RULES).

A NEW THEORY OF QUANTUM ENTANGLED MORALITY__OR__WHY ARE REPUBLICANS MORE IMMORAL THAN DEMOCRATS?

Initially everything in our universe was connected and touching to everything else at the time of the Big Bang approximately 13.8 billion years ago. That is to say, everything in our universe was linked by a physics principle known today as quantum entanglement. From one dense and hot small point came all that we know of our universe. Still today this connection of quantum entanglement exists everywhere throughout the universe touching all that we know about the stars, planets, solar systems, and ultimately ourselves.

For those uninitiated to the world of quantum entanglement I recommend the following cartoon introduction. It will allow you to begin wrapping your mind around the fascinating and somewhat strange subject matter physicists have discovered regarding this connectedness. Simply put, ours is an entangled universe where everything touches everything else.

We also know that all cells and biological organisms interact with and respond to the physical world around them including the physically detectable properties of light, magnetism, gravity, barometric pressure, and the like. It is now known that biological organisms also interact with the quantum entanglement found ubiquitously about them. Not only do organisms interact with quantum entanglement, but this relationship is a basic building block of living material in a Darwinian sense. This is evidenced by some of the latest scientific work on how birds use quantum entanglement to follow the earth’s magnetic waves when they migrate. At the heart of the matter we have an example of a form of evolutionary adaptation to entanglement.

From: This is how birds use quantum mechanics to navigate
SCIENCEALERT STAFF 2 SEP 2014
"there’s evidence that some birds, particularly European robins, can actually visualize the magnetic field of Earth by detecting quantum entanglement.
The theory goes that electrons in the receptor cells of birds’ eyes can change their spin, and therefore their state of entanglement with other electrons, based on the Earth’s gravitational field. And depending on which way they’re flying in relation to this field, the electrons will either absorb energy from the Sun or release it back into the optic nerve.

This is amazing, not only because it’s a quantum phenomenon taking place inside the cells of a living creature, but also because it may mean that birds can SEE quantum entanglement - something our best scientists can barely visualize.
This also means that they may be able to see with their own eyes whether they’re going west or north, sort of like an inbuilt, Google Glass-style compass."

We humans are no exception to these biological adaptations of our species to entanglement. Coming from the same primordial cauldron of cells, we too have evolved in response to the quantum entanglement around us as a means of survival. That is to say, we have adapted our species to quantum entanglement in such a way where the most fit survived to pass on our genetic material to our offspring; this fitness came about because of this long standing relationship between our cells and quantum entanglement. This confers to us and our offspring a survivability edge within our niche.

More examples of this intimate relationship come from the field of parapsychology, where psi, the entity labeled as the mechanism of action for psychokinesis and clairvoyance, is now known to operate on quantum entangled physics principles. Author David Kaiser points this out in his book, "How the Hippies Saved Physics." Having a dual Ph.D.s from MIT; one is in history and the other is in physics, he documents a group of physicists based out of Berkeley, California, called the “Fundamental Fysiks Group.” One of their main thrusts of scientific inquiry was to explain the mechanism of action of the paranormal and its link to quantum entanglement.

How the Hippies Saved Physics: Science Counterculture And The Quantum Revival Paperback – Jul 17 2012 by David Kaiser
In the 1970s, an eccentric group of physicists in Berkeley, California, banded together to explore the wilder side of science. Dubbing themselves the “Fundamental Fysiks Group,” they pursued an audacious, speculative approach to physics, studying quantum entanglement in terms of Eastern mysticism and psychic mind reading. As David Kaiser reveals, these unlikely heroes spun modern physics in a new direction, forcing mainstream physicists to pay attention to the strange but exciting underpinnings of quantum theory.
{Doctor A's note: Elizabeth Rauscher, Ph.D., was one of the group’s initial organizers and guiding force. During my conversations with her in the early 1980's in Berkeley, California, she would playfully refer to the field of parapsychology as S.W.S., translated to mean Strange Weird Sh_t. It was an appropriate and accurate description of the field at that time relative to the minds of most mainstream scientists and individuals. However, that does not negate the scientific research done in the field. Respectfully, I will not engage into discussions as to the validity of the paranormal science on this website. I made up my mind that the research in the field was valid by doing my own research regarding the science decades ago. Furthermore, the the government corroborated my results in secret research trials outside the purview of the established scientific community. Other individuals wishing to engage in such discussions are free to express their views, be they a skeptic or convinced believer of the paranormal scientific literature. }

Another must read book lending support on the subject of the paranormal and its relationship to quantum entanglement comes from Dean Radin, Ph.D., a researcher in the field of parapsychology. His book, "Entangled Minds", recounts the relationship between the paranormal research and quantum entanglement.

Entangled Minds: Extrasensory Experiences in a Quantum Reality Paperback – April 25, 2006 by Dean Radin Ph.D.
Is everything connected? Can we sense what's happening to loved ones thousands of miles away? Why are we sometimes certain of a caller's identity the instant the phone rings? Do intuitive hunches contain information about future events? Is it possible to perceive without the use of the ordinary senses?

Many people believe that such "psychic phenomena" are rare talents or divine gifts. Others don't believe they exist at all. But the latest scientific research shows that these phenomena are both real and widespread, and are an unavoidable consequence of the interconnected, entangled physical reality we live in.
Another example of the paranormal and its Darwinian roots comes from an interesting theory linking human psychic capabilities to survive-ability under the topic of precognition. This comes from the theory of “Psi-Mediated Instrumental Response (PMIR)” and its related scientific literature.

From: Encyclopeia.com
Psi-Mediated Instrumental Response
Encyclopedia of Occultism and Parapsychology
COPYRIGHT 2001 The Gale Group Inc.
An experimental concept developed by parapsychologist Rex G. Stanford, who proposed a model for spontaneous psi events where individuals may unconsciously obtain extrasensory knowledge of events relevant to their personal needs and use this knowledge to modify their behavior in a way which will be instrumental in satisfying those needs. Stanford and other parapsychologists have published a series of papers on experimental research relating to the PMIR model.
An example of this theory is where a mother at a social gathering would tell others just out of the blue something to the effect, “I think I need to call home to see if everything is ok.” In this case her unconscious ability to scan the environment para-normally is a mechanism satisfying her instrumental need to keep tabs on her child’s safety.

Still, other examples of this human to quantum relationship come from the Remote Viewing research.

From: Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Remote viewing (RV) is the practice of seeking impressions about a distant or unseen target, purportedly using extrasensory perception (ESP) or "sensing with mind". Put another way, it is the alleged paranormal ability to perceive a remote or hidden target without support of the senses.
Dr. Elizabeth Rauscher, from the above Berkeley “Fundamental Fysiks Group,” was a physics researcher in this area of scientific study.

Elizabeth A. Rauscher, PhD, is a physicist and parapsychological researcher. She is author of over 250 scientific papers as well as co-author of several books including Orbiting the Moons of Pluto: Complex Solutions to the Einstein, Maxwell, Schrodinger and Dirac Equations and The Holographic Anthropic Multiverse: Formalizing the Complex Geometry of Reality. She is also co-author of a forthcoming book titled Mind Dynamics in Space and Time: A Physicist’s Exploration of the Nature and Properties of Consciousness. She has served on the faculty of the University of California, Berkeley; John F. Kennedy University; and the University of Nevada, Reno. She has also worked as a researcher at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, Stanford Research Institute Radio Physics Laboratory, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Her work has been featured in a book written by MIT professor David Kaiser titled, How the Hippies Saved Physics: Science, Counterculture, and the Physics Revival.

Here she describes a successful remote viewing experiment, conducted at SRI International, in which she served as the “outbound experimenter” and interviewer, Jeffrey Mishlove was the remote viewer. This experiment exemplifies the methodology used at SRI involving rigorous experimental controls. Over the course of her career, Rauscher has participated in over 100 such experimental trials – yielding, from a statistical perspective, enormously successful results. These experiments show that the ability of the human mind to access information does not appear to be limited by the conventional constraints of space and time. In order to account for these results Rauscher has developed an eight-dimensional model of complex space.

Given the recent research on birds using quantum entanglement to navigate their migratory routes, studies related to the theory of Psi Mediated Instrumental Response, research literature on remote viewing, and much more, I surmise we humans have a very intimate and dependent relationship with the entangled states found all around us; for that matter, we have always had this type of relation since our first primordial cells developed. I propose this relationship is of such great importance to our survival and sense of being that we have developed evolutionary mechanisms to maintain this relationship. In fact, any attempt to separate us from this relationship by others, in contrast to natural events such as disasters, is deemed “immoral” and is the true basis for our morality standards still today.

As our bodies, and especially our brain's neurons, developed over the course of evolutionary time periods, it did so hand in hand with quantum entanglement; this special relationship of connected touching is the basis of our present day morality. In fact, the degree of one's morality is highly correlated to the maintenance of this entangled relationship.

Finally, as the ultimate expression of this special relationship between a human being and the universe, we have the spiritual recognition of saints. These are individuals who through practices such as prayer and meditation, along with a highly functioning internal psychic structure capable of interacting with quantum entanglement, have a more direct experience of this quantum relationship than do other people.

The individuals who experience the nearly direct entangled connectedness of sainthood, many times describe their state of consciousness mentally as seeing an internal "light." At some point they actually merge their inner consciousness with this light giving them a direct recognition of the oneness of the universe; that is to say, they actually experience the connectedness of the underlying fabric of the universe.

Because saints are so intimately connected to the quantum entanglement around them, they are many times used as a gold standard for morality. Interestingly, saints many times report receiving "grace," or an awakening of their inner spirituality from the universe, granting them deeper access to the entangled realm. I believe in the future this process of receiving grace will also prove to be a quantum entangled process.

This then begs the question as to how we know something is immoral or not. To answer this we need to look at the structure and mechanism by which we have this special relationship with the ubiquitous entanglement about us. In fact, this structure and mechanism is quite well known to most of us, but cannot be measured in physical terms. It is however measured indirectly and is quite prevalent and embedded in the human condition and psyche worldwide. However, I will only briefly acknowledge two such examples: the Chinese acupuncture system with its meridians and the East Indian spiritual yoga system regarding Kundalini with its related structural chakras. Although both systems are “subtle” in nature, meaning we have not yet found a way to directly measure them physically, we can see and experience their interactions with our physical bodies.

First, the Chinese for thousands of years have mapped out this interconnection in an indirect way utilizing the physical manipulation of the body with needles and other physical objects to move the flow of "energy" through the meridians. This is done to alleviate pain or to manipulate the physical body to bring about other benefits for the recipients of such practices.

Secondly, the flow of the spiritual "energy" Kundalini through the subtle structures of the chakras in the East Indian yoga system has also been well mapped out indirectly in vivid detail. The practice of hatha yoga is but yet another way to manipulate the physical body to interact with the subtle "energy" between the human body and its entangled universe.

Both the Chinese acupuncture system and the East Indian yoga system are examples of our intimate evolutionary development with quantum entanglement. The development of our brain's neurons to their present maturation state, as with other systems of our body, have evolutionarily interacted with this ever present quantum entanglement. This interaction has conferred survival advantages not only to our species, but for certain members within our species, enhanced survival advantages. This then provides more advantages to them than it does to others within our species.

An example of this intra-species advantage can be exemplified with remote viewing. This was once explained to me as a mechanism whereby almost all individuals of our species have some capability. But there are those individuals within our species who are much more capable than others. Analogously, most people can “tickle the ivory on a piano”, but here are those individuals with vastly greater capability who can play a concerto. In other words, certain individuals within our species have a much greater remote viewing capability consistently over time than do others. This then confers upon them greater survive-ability in a quantum entangled world.

Compared to humans, reindeer in the northern latitudes are the only mammals capable of seeing ultraviolet light. This is an evolutionary survival advantage allowing them the ability to better see lichens, a food source, and predators, such as wolves, than with just the human eye. This adaption is important for the survival of their species. Humans have also adapted evolutionary to the physical world with the development of a sophisticated brain and the capacity to be self aware. Both species adaptations can be seen within the context of allowing us to survive better within our environmental niche.

However, within the context of the relationship between humans and quantum entanglement, there are physical phenomena that have the ability to not only minimize our entangled evolutionary relationship with the world around us, but to disconnect it all together.

Pain is one such phenomena and its occurrence is quite effective at minimizing the entangled relationship, or at least our awareness of this relationship. The pain can be either physical or psychological pain. Under either circumstance, the human organism’s capability to perceive and be self aware of the entangled relationship, either consciously or unconsciously, becomes diminished. The process of prayer and meditation on the other hand seems to enhance and strengthen the entangled relationship. But ask any individual what their mental state is like if they have a bad toothache and its associated pain while sitting in meditation. Most will answer they begin to focus on the pain rather than their meditational clarity of mind. This is a diminution of the awareness of the entangled phenomena.

Finally, at the extreme end of the spectrum is the taking of a human life; the inevitable result is a lack of neuronal functioning capable of interacting with and perceiving the quantum connectedness about us. This ends the brain’s capability to process and be self aware of the entangled relationship. This form of separation from our connectedness to the universe is deemed to be extremely immoral.

For this reason, the taking of another person’s life is usually at the top of most people's immorality list. Here we have a complete severance of the special entangled relationship correlating to an extremely high level of immorality.

Torture, both physical and mental, are lower on the list than death, but the pain associated with this form of abuse still puts it high on most individual’s ranking of immoral acts.

Although an affair by a married spouse does not in general cause death, the psychic pain associated with it causes this type of action to be high on immorality ranking lists.

Drugs and alcohol, through various and multiple mechanisms, can cause physical and emotional pain, ultimately leading to a decreased awareness of the users connection to the universe. For this reason, history has judged these behaviors as immoral for millennia.

Homosexuality has recently decreased in its ranking as being immoral probably because it has become more widely accepted and the emotional pain has diminished in many people’s minds.

The level of immorality caused by pain is associated with an aggregate and cumulative effect. For example, there are those who would say doctors, dentists, psychiatrists, and other practitioners many times cause pain in their patients. Yet we view this behavior as being moral. But this behavior on the practitioner's part is tempered with an overall goal of eventually reducing the aggregate and cumulative level of pain over time for the patient. This subsequently conforms to our moral standards. However, if no such overall reduction is achieved, then the therapy needs to be stopped or it is deemed immoral.

As an overview, we have a very special and deeply intimate relationship with the quantum entanglement all around us that has developed evolutionary as a survival mechanism to deal with the universe. Certain actions such as pain and death can interfere with this relationship; these actions can diminished the relationship or severe it entirely. In fact, the more this relationship is interfered with by other human beings and subsequently diminished, the more these actions are deemed immoral.

So, why are Republicans more immoral than Democrats?

The answer is actually quite simple when viewed from the perspective of the new quantum entangled morality model. It is because the Republican agenda promotes income and economic inequality more so than does the Democrat’s agenda; the outcomes of these Republican inequalities are strongly associated with more pain and death to a greater number of people. Within the new model, these actions are the ones capable of not only diminishing human awareness of quantum entangled relationship, but as in the case of death, actually disconnecting it. Hence, Republicans exhibit a greater degree of immorality.

Not only do Republicans vote more often for legislation increasing income and economic inequality, they actively pursue this as a policy; although they do not use these words to describe their conduct. A case in point is their insistence on repealing the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare. They know full well the increase in the number of individuals projected who will suffer in pain and die as a result of not having access to medical care should the repeal be enacted. Worse yet, all of this will be done in the name of a thinly veiled tax breaks for the rich.

Based upon a commentary in the Chicago Tribune on Tuesday Jun 20, 2017, regarding a story in the Washinton Post by David Himmelstein, Steffie Woolhandler on Jan 23, 2017, titled "Repealing Obamacare will kill more than 43,000 people a year ...,"we find the following excerpts helpful at putting the level of pain and death into perspective by the Republican proposed actions.
The story is in the data: The biggest and most definitive study of what happens to death rates when Medicaid coverage is expanded, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, found that for every 455 people who gained coverage across several states, one life was saved per year. Applying that figure to even a conservative estimate of 20 million losing coverage in the event of an ACA repeal yields an estimate of 43,956 deaths annually.

The first problem is that Republicans don't have a clear replacement plan. Kessler, for instance, chides Sanders for assuming that repeal would leave many millions uninsured, because Kessler presumes that the Republicans would replace the ACA with reforms that preserve coverage. But while repeal seems highly likely (indeed, it's already underway using a legislative vehicle that requires only 50 Senate votes), replacement (which would require 60 votes) is much less certain.

Moreover, even if a Republican replacement plan comes together, it's likely to take a big backward step from the gains made by the ACA, covering fewer people with much skimpier plans.

No one knows with any certainty what the Republicans will do, or how many will die as a result. But Sanders' suggestion that 36,000 would die is certainly well within the ballpark of scientific consensus on the likely impact of repeal of the ACA, and the notion of certain replacement — and the hope that a GOP replacement would be a serviceable remedy — are each far from certain, and looking worse every day.
Democrats on the other hand actively promote their party’s supports for reducing economic and income inequality. That is to say, they cause less pain and death; this is a more moral agenda.

To say the Republicans have "lost their moral compass" is now more appropriate than ever. Like birds using an internal compass to migrate based upon the entangled relationship between electron spins in their eyes with the earth’s magnetic field, we humans have also developed evolutionary means by which we stay connected to the universe. This quantum entangled connectedness is the basis of what is moral or immoral for all humanity. The Republicans, through the elevated levels of pain and death brought on by their legislative agendas of inequality, have clearly lost sight of this internal process; or perhaps this moral mechanism was never fully developed in their brain structure to begin with. In either case, theirs is a broken compass as they continue drift, lost in a sea of immorality.

BRAVO!! Doctor A

It is a wonderful new way to look at and understand morality. I have never seen or heard of this before and I hope it pans out to be something humanity can use to make us more moral as a society. Overall I do not understand the physics behind your explanation but what you presented was fascinating.

The concept is absolutely brilliant. I love it. Certainly it is exciting and thought provoking. I too have not read anything like this before regarding morality and its link to our connectivity with the entire universe. However, I will need to temper my response based upon my lack of understanding of quantum entanglement and the possibility of other research literature trying to explain the origins of morality. Although I have read a limited amount of the quantum entangled scientific research, including some of the newer biological studies, I am certainly no expert. We will have to wait until those individuals with the appropriate backgrounds in the field weigh in on the matter before we can gain clarity and then come to a consensus regarding this new model.

Within my own small educational microcosm, nowhere have I seen anyone explained to me what morality really is at its most basic level. Like learning that atoms are the basic building blocks of molecules around us with their inner structures of electrons, protons, and neutrons being the basic building blocks of these atoms, I hope the process will begins to unfold perhaps by shedding light upon on a basic unit and structure of morality. My own cognitive understanding of morality seems to be partially derived by way of example such as Moses displaying the Ten Commandments, literary and historical themes, or a movie pointing out a moral outrage. Additionally my genetic code seems to have created a framework of thoughts and emotions by which I deem something is moral or not. Nevertheless, we seem to take it for granted morality exists but I cannot recall seeing an underlying reason for its existence. If Doctor A is correct in his assumptions, this could be a major breakthrough in our understanding of how and why we act the way we do.

The scientific discourse regarding moral behavior is complex with many diverse ideas as to how these behaviors come about. We know pathology to the brain can cause immoral behavior, be it congenital or otherwise induced. Researchers are looking at neuropeptides, such as oxytocin and vasopressin, along with other neurological structures and mechanisms, in an attempt to determine how moral behaviors are produced. Still there are those who view morality in very tight evolutionary terms as a way to maintain our reproductive capabilities. These evolutionary terms are combined with the role of the family and social systems to support these reproductive moral behaviors. Sociobiologists lean upon evolution and genetic inheritance, compared to societal and cultural adaptations, as a way to explain an organism's ethical behavior.

Notwithstanding the afore mentioned avenues of research into moral behavior, plus others sources I no doubt am not aware of, no single approach seems to reach the level of understanding as explained by Doctor A's new model of morality. Overall I cannot say I have seen anything that cannot be related at its most basic core to this new model. But then I must remind myself, I am not an expert is such matters. Surely connecting our morality to a physics principle, let alone one new on the scientific stage as is quantum entanglement, may be a novel starting point for the development of morality studies within our species. I certainly hope so if the concept is valid.

If future scientists continue to quantify our biological relationship with quantum entanglement, then we may have a direct way to study morality. Moreover, if we can quantify the relationship, this may lead to ways of changing our moral underpinnings for the good of society. It opens up many questions regarding our interrelationships with other individuals and society as a whole. To mention a few, what is the biological role of making amends to another person, the function of prisons, and substantive matters regarding the law such as sentencing guidelines. It may also provide a new avenue for the role of prayer and meditation in the biological process of reducing immorality.

I would hope any Republican who reads this will have a new view of their morality; or rather I should say immorality. But this understanding on their part may be reduced by their inability to understand and experience these concepts due to their brain structure. Although they may have the same mechanism and "inner subtle psychic structure" with which to interact with quantum entanglement, they may interpret it differently. This is somewhat analogous to how they interpret facts and other inputs compared to the owner of a more liberal brain.

The posting exhibits keen timing especially with Republicans currently trying to push health care reform through Congress. Regardless of how you view this debate, it is immoral within the confines of this new model, even if your mind will not let you perceive it this way.

How Income Inequality Is Messing With Kids’ Brains
Inside the nationwide study exploring the link between poverty and brain development.

The new theory on quantum entanglement describes why brain development, especially in the evolving brain of children, is so important to morality. And, hand in glove, or should I say foot in mouth regarding the Republicans, why morality is so important to brain development.

From: Mother Jones, Mike MarianiJul. 3, 2017

http://www.motherjones.com/politics/201 ... p-clinton/
"increasing evidence that poverty itself—and not factors like nutrition, language exposure, family stability, or prenatal issues, as previously thought—may diminish the growth of a child’s brain."
SO WHAT? With all the thousands of research studies linking income and economic inequality to social ills, do we really need another study linking poverty to negative cognitive outcomes?

The answer to the question is a definitive yes, but with the caveat, not right now.

With a conservative administration currently in place, doing a study like this is akin to having Donald Trump psychoanalyzed. Although a great cesspool of malignant, malformed, and immoral thoughts would most likely be found, it is inconsequential until he and his like-minded fellows are removed from office. Until that time, it will not matter his state of mind; we are forced to live with it. And just like Trump's mental status, we will have to live with the fact that research designed to help the poor is unlikely to produce meaningful post study governmental policies due to inaction on the part of the Republicans currently in control.

My view is not to diminish the importance of this type of research. To the contrary, I applaud the researcher's work and quest to better understand how poverty is linked to brain development. However, we already know the general direction in which income and economic inequality has taken humanity. Richard Wilkinson's video, "How economic inequality harms societies" and other resources clearly point out this harm. An emphasis on dissecting these harms into finer and finer parts at this time is no longer where the emphasis should be. Rather, the purpose needs to be on eradicating the harm's original cause of disease promoting inequality; doing another study at this time to confirm our hunches about the symptoms will be inconsequential in the larger scheme of things.

Surely it is helpful for the government to know whether or not dollars spent in one area of concern may be more beneficial and helpful than in another area. This is especially true at the early stages of brain development. But the main thrust of my argument suggests the $16 million scheduled to confirm the outcomes of this study would be better spent funding projects that attack the underlying causative issues. That is to say, it is a much better approach to eradicate the cause of these inequalities than to merely put out brush fires along the periphery of the inequality conflagration. Although the researchers make the point, "The policy implications are immense," without a way to enact the critical policies needed, the most likely result is this study's outcomes will go into the dustbin of history. Conservative thoughts will once again stand in the way of rational thought and progress. It is unfortunate but the fates of so many good progressive ideas are being stymied by Republican law makers. I doubt the outcome of this research will prove to be the exception.

I am keenly aware of the amount of time, effort, and emotional fortitude it takes for researchers to obtain funding of this nature, let alone do the research itself. Being sympathetic to their needs, I am not suggesting the cancellation of any contracts. But I too have a hypothesis that the world would be a much better place if the funding dollars were now focused on the root cause of the problem and not the symptoms. Frankly, we would not need to do as much scientific research related to negative issues if this was the case. Perhaps this hypothesis will be tested with the funding of the FirstRateCrowd website. I postulate it would be a step forward and in the right direction to use the resources available in a more meaningful and effective manner with such funding. Much of the research we fund today is superfluous in light of the fact that many ills of society will disappear once income and economic inequality disappear. Thinking otherwise only allows us to spin our wheels in needless frustration as we continue to sink deeper into the Republican mud.

More select portions of the article are as follows:
"the observation that poor kids tended to perform worse academically than their better-off peers. They wanted to investigate the neurocognitive underpinnings of this relationship—to trace the long-standing correlation between socioeconomic status and academic performance back to specific parts of the brain.”

"scientists soon began using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans to examine the brains of children across the socioeconomic spectrum. The results were striking. In one study Farah looked at 283 MRIs and found that kids from poorer, less-educated families tended to have thinner subregions of the prefrontal cortex—a part of the brain strongly associated with executive functioning—than better-off kids. That could explain weaker academic achievement and even lower IQs."

"The policy implications are immense. If the data holds, simply moving a family’s income out of poverty might be enough to get that child much closer to cognitive developmental norms. And while we don’t yet know whether or how much these brain disparities persist into adulthood, this research—combined with past work demonstrating that people raised in poverty end up doing worse financially and suffering greater health problems than their more-affluent contemporaries over the course of their lifetimes—suggests they probably have lifelong effects."
Clearly the moral consequences of not providing children who are raised in poverty the developmental means to affix their minds to the greater entangled universe is morally reprehensible. Yet it is another way the rich subjugate the poor with the real irony being the Republican Party immorally stating they are acting as the gatekeepers of the "moral majority."

Could a Robot Be President?

Yes, it sounds nuts. But some techno-optimists really believe a computer could make better decisions for the country—without the drama and shortsightedness we accept from our human leaders.

Here are some interesting selections from the article. However, my sentiment is to make a robot that is more moral than not. That is to say, its hardware and software need to be based more upon a progressive rather than a conservative brain structure as is dictated by Doctor A's new theory of morality.
Now, a small group of scientists and thinkers believes there could be an alternative, a way to save the president—and the rest of us—from him- or herself. As soon as technology advances far enough, they think we should put a computer in charge of the country. Yes, it sounds nuts. But the idea is that artificial intelligence could make America’s big, complicated decisions better than any person could, without the drama or shortsightedness that we grudgingly accept from our human presidents.

Of course, replacing a human with a robot in the White House would not be simple, and even those pushing the idea admit there are serious obstacles.

For starters, how a machine leader would fit in with our democratic republic is anybody’s guess. Istvan, for one, envisions regular national elections, in which voters would decide on the robot’s priorities and how it should come out on moral issues like abortion; the voters would then have a chance in the next election to change those choices. The initial programming of the system would no doubt be controversial, and the programmers would probably need to be elected, too. All of this would require amending the Constitution, Istvan acknowledges.

From a technical point of view, artificial intelligence is not yet smart enough to run the country.

If these obstacles sound discouraging for the pro-robot caucus, there might be a middle ground that suffices for now: A computer that can chug through all the decisions a president has to make—not to make the final choices itself, but to help guide the human commander in chief. Think of it as a human-computer partnership that produces better results than either could alone.
Here are some interesting selections from the FirstRateCrowd website:
We are at war; it is a war between competing brain structures. What we are witnessing is the opening salvo of class warfare on a world wide scale. Few dare to call it what it really is in an attempt keep the cauldron from boiling over. Nevertheless, the carnage is just starting and will continue.

"Let there be no doubt, the single most important aspect we are really battling for here is to control the future, our future. Will we control it or let the wealthy elite control our destiny? Make no mistake; what happens here will determine the outcome of humanity. Whoever controls the Singularity will control the future; will it be them or us?"
A good portion of AI currently involves mimicking the neuronal structure of the human brain. Although there are those who believe this may not be the best approach, it is nevertheless the thrust of the research and development currently underway.

But here is the pebble in our collective shoe, the irritant of the day. Any development of an AI system based upon the human brain structure will need to determine the type of brain it will be. That is to say, will it be it a processor based upon conservative brain structure and thoughts or a progressive brain structure and thoughts. Without diminishing the importance of other structures, one need to ask, just how big will the amygdala be?

The author suggests we can get around this by voting the outcome of the structures in. A hefty dose of aggression on a scale one to ten at the ballot box along with a rational dose of risk management smarts to counter the aggressive effects may be warranted. Given the current state of the presidency, a healthy dose of honesty, compassion, and humility may also be voted into the circuitry to keep the President's ego in check lest we end up with another Donald Trump.

A merger between humans and computers will dominate presidential issues shortly. Although the extent and timing of this merger is open to speculation, to deny this merger is to deny knowledge of the singularity. Unless an asteroid, nuclear annihilation, or some other unforeseen cataclysmic event occurs, to deny the rise of the singularity is a position of ignorance. But regardless of the extent of progress and its inherent time frame, we are essentially forced back to the question of brain structure.

Will the president's decision making powers be based upon conservative brain structures, and therefore Republican ideology, or progressive brain structures, and therefore Democrat ideology. Or will it be a hybrid of both with the electorate deciding the appropriate amount of each at elections. This of course assumes the wealthy elite even allow us to have a vote in the matter, be it tokenism or real. Given the way the scales of justice and economic inequality are currently tipped in favor of the wealthy few, the concepts of democracy, middle class, and ideals from the French Revolution are quickly vanishing as the wealthy few gain more power each day.

Still, if we do somehow actually get to have a fair vote on the matter, once again it comes down to determining what we value. Will it be a liberal or a conservative brain structure we want to bring forth into the future? In other words, be it human, hybrid, or fully robotic, will it be us or them?

I do not know enough about computers and robots to really comment. However a friend of mine presented the following which made sense to me after I read it a few times. Of course, I think he is being too generous with his slime mold comment at the end.

"Its an interesting concept. Although I don't think it should be implemented unless certain checks and balances were also implemented. For one, all the source code would need to be open source. Computer and AI experts wound need to be able to examine and comment on the source code. Also other organizations would need to be able to run the system and compare their systems output with the presidential output, given the same inputs, in order to have some assurances that the presidential system is not compromised. Unless these and others checks were put in place a presidential AI would become an oracle issuing orders and directive from on high with humans religiously following it's directives and labelling as heretics all that oppose the sacred AI overlord.

That being said I can see weak/strong AI serving in a decision assistance capacity being able to provide feedback on various policy options. Such a system would be able to recommend options or point out flaws in options that humans may not have been able to think of.

This of course would be a much more workable situation than our current one with a barely sentient slime mold as president".

It is a wonderful new way to look at and understand morality. I have never seen or heard of this before and I hope it pans out to be something humanity can use to make us more moral as a society. Overall I do not understand the physics behind your explanation but what you presented was fascinating.

Right, science will lead the way. It will be interesting to see where this goes.

Alfred, that is correct. I think science will solve the mystery of God. As a spiritual person, I do not see this as diminishing the role of God in any respect. After all, God did make science. Quantum entanglement will play a large role in this demystification allowing the glory of God's existence to be better understood and allowing us to get closer to him.

In fact, science is already working on developing systems to mimic our consciousness. The research of Penrose and Hameroff is most interesting. It provides a glimmer of hope we can make a future robot that is both conscious and moral.
Watch the video by Dr. Hameroff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OnzVfZ8TJU

While reading your post I also reflected upon Trump's immorality by supporting the KKK and the neo-Nazis. Anyone, including myself, who has ever been the target of prejudice in this manner knows the emotional and psychic pain it causes. This pain in turn separates us from our true selves; it is a self that is merged with the entangled universe and the closer we can stay to this great mother of unity the better we will be. This is why we fight against these people with their immoral acts and beliefs. Perhaps science will some day allow us to remove these prejudices from the world. Religion, for all of the benefits it brings, is still counterbalanced with its own set of folly and certainly has not been able to accomplish this after thousands of years.

This is fascinating! I do not know much about the subject material. My background is in Entomology, the study and science of insects, so the concepts here are new to me. I have never heard of Quantum entanglement before.

I have however heard of the trolley problem as it relates to morality. There seems to be a lot of divergent opinions as to whether of not this is an accurate indication of one's morality. If Doctor A is correct in his assumptions then he may have hit upon a new way to at least explore the idea of morality.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sl5KJ69qiA Video

https://qz.com/1196243/test-how-moral-o ... ophy-quiz/ Here is an article discussing the flaws of the trolley problem.
The Trolley Problem isn't the best test of utilitarian morality.
Everyone likes to think of themselves as moral. Objectively evaluating morality is decidedly tricky, though, not least because there’s no clear consensus on what it actually means to be moral.
Though the Trolley Problem is compelling, the philosophers behind the utilitarianism scale don’t think that the scenario accurately captures or assesses utilitarian views.
Here is a test to judge how moral you are. http://www.jimaceverett.com/test/oxford ... ism-scale/
Hummm...I wonder how Donald J Trump would do on this test?

Approximately 28,578 people will die at the hands of the Republicans by 2027 mostly from the lack of medical coverage. These are still staggering numbers. They do not even take into consideration that no progress has been made on gun control, drug addiction, decreases in consumer protection, the lack of infrastructure improvements and a host of other areas where a lack of concern matters. This is freighting. Talk about moral failings, this is the the epitome of immoral behavior. I for one hope we can drown these Republicans in "A Blue Wave" in the upcoming elections.

This number of deaths comes from Doctor A's quote in his post,
The story is in the data: The biggest and most definitive study of what happens to death rates when Medicaid coverage is expanded, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, found that for every 455 people who gained coverage across several states, one life was saved per year.
and is based upon some new numbers I found in a recent article,
https://www.alternet.org/news-amp-polit ... ed-believe in Alternet.org,
"Income Inequality in the U.S. Is Even Worse Than You've Been Led to Believe"
Data show the country is failing its lower and middle-income earners miserably.

I know almost nothing about quantum physics but I do know immorality when I see it. These Republicans keep hiding behind the skirt of being for the common man by saying they are here to help and protect us. Well, this is not true. Obviously with the number of deaths they are causing I certainly do not feel protected and neither should you. As for being here to help us, the only thing I see them helping themselves to is giving themselves a greater slice of the pie at everyone's expense. Certainly when it comes to making money and hurting others they are immoral.

I am not in an academic position to evaluate Doctor A's theory of quantum entanglement being the mother lode of morality and the more we are forcefully separated from it by others, the the more immoral these people are. But what I do know, just through my own observation, is Republicans are more willing to hurt others for money. Here is also some research to support this,
http://thescienceexplorer.com/humanity/ ... rat-brains
that I read in The Science Explorer,
Neuroscience Reveals the Differences Between Republican and Democrat Brains
February 1, 2016 | Kelly Tatera
When it comes to morals, research has found that conservatives are much less likely to budge than liberals. In a 2009 study, over 8,000 people were presented with a series of hypothetical actions, like kicking a dog in the head, cursing at their parents to their faces, or receiving a blood transfusion from a child molester. Participants were asked how much money they would need to receive in order to do those deeds — $10? $100,000? More?
The results showed that the liberals were reluctant to harm a living thing or act unfairly — even for $1 million
This supports my world view that Republicans are more immoral than Democrats. Without reservation, every true Republican would be willing to kick my head for $1 million. However, after reading this, I know many would be willing to do it for free.
