The technological singularity is a point in the near future when technological growth becomes uncontrollable and irreversible, resulting in unfathomable changes to human civilization. It will advance at inconceivable rates and will overwhelm our human capacity to understand it. The technological singularity and economic inequality are two powerful streams that will merge together, massively feeding upon each other to create the ultimate disaster.
